Accountant Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will not only manage accounting operations and financial reporting but also maintain large-scale product catalogues on ensuring accuracy in inventory and pricing. This is not a simple data-entry role — we are looking for an expert who can handle complex data structures, bulk updates, and optimize catalogue workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities within Microsoft Business Central.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ensure compliance with accounting best practices.
  • Oversee inventory accounting and costing accuracy, including stock adjustments and bulk updates.
  • Generate and analyse financial and management reports for leadership.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Use Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis tools) for reconciliations, bulk updates, and reporting.
  • Handle large datasets efficiently, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Create custom reporting dashboards for performance tracking and insights.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across Business Central.
  • Manage and optimize meta fields/meta objects for structured data.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to maintain a clean, scalable catalogue structure.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (required).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).

Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
